In 2009, the three of us spent quite a bit of time in the recently constructed basement recording studio of our friend Chris, which he had christened Organic Watts. We recorded eight proper tracks intended for an album, plus a couple of miscellaneous other things that were never used. The album, which we intended to call "Burning World," was never released, and currently exists only in the form of rough mixes given to us by Chris.

We always thought that these two tracks would have made a good single, and we probably would have released them as such had the album been completed and released. Ten years later, with the band having just recently reunited, we have decided to release rough mixes of "Burning World" and its intended b-side "Two Mothers/ Pity" as they were recorded and mixed in 2009. The mix isn't perfect, but we thought it would be fun to put out as an informal release on Bandcamp, so people can at last hear a rough approximation of how the single was intended to be.
